Ensure the dishwasher and the circuit supplying power to it are turned off at the breaker box.

Use lockout/tagout procedures to prevent accidental power restoration while working. Remove the cover of the disconnect switch box.

Disconnect the wires from the old switch. Mount the new switch in the same location as the old one, securing it with screws. Connect the wires to the new switch. Turn the power back on at the breaker box. Verify power is properly flowing to the new switch and from the switch to the dishwasher. Turn the power back on and test the dishwasher to ensure it operates correctly.
